The Kattankudy Heritage Museum is a cultural centre established to preserve and display the history, traditions and heritage of the Kattankudy community. It helps visitors learn about the local culture, lifestyle and historical background of the area.
Established under the guidance of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs and the Archaeological Department, the four-storey museum was inaugurated in 2015 and opened to the public on 15 April 2015. Its topmost floor houses a resource centre with a 3-D video auditorium and a library, and the museum is managed by the Archaeological Department.
